The NWTC Cybersecurity Considerations for Industrial Controls is designed to provide an introduction to cybersecurity for industrial automation specialists. The certificate includes the basics of cybersecurity, PLC programming basics for hardware and software, Human Machine Interface programming, and the keys to secure industrial networks for both control and data. This certificate is well suited to experienced professionals who want to gain additional understanding of cybersecurity in automation environments. Students with industrial experience may request to have pre-requisites for Automation classes waived.
