Course: BE Reading Prep IB

Reading Prep IB (grade equivalent 6.0-8.9) emphasizes comprehension of a variety of materials such as periodicals, non-technical journals on common topics, and expository writing. Learners identify spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors and follow simple multi-step directions. Learners identify the main idea in reading selections and use context to determine meaning. Learners achieve Low Adult Secondary Education Benchmarks according to NRS guidelines.
